- Major Civil Case Mediation Program established in 1st Judicial Circuit. RSI provides training, evaluation services, and monitoring software.
- Major Civil Case Mediation Program established in Cook County. RSI assists in rule creation, as well as monitoring and evaluation services and software.
- Major Civil Case Mediation Program established in 20th Judicial Circuit. RSI provides training, evaluation services, and monitoring software.
- 17th Judicial Circuit launches pilot program for mediation of financial issues in divorce cases. RSI assists with writing of the rule, helps with coordination of mediator training, and creates report and evaluation forms.
- RSI conducts preliminary evaluation of mediation program in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (Western Division).
- ADR Handbook for Judges, which was co-edited by RSI Executive Director Susan M. Yates, is published by the American Bar Association.
