Organization

  • 3.1 Chair
    1. The Chair of the Executive Committee shall direct all operations of RSI under the supervision of the Executive Committee.
    2. The Chair of the Executive Committee shall be appointed by, and hold office at the sufferance of, the Executive Committee.
  • 3.2 Executive Committee
    1. The Executive Committee shall formulate policy and approve programs of RSI.
    2. All decisions of the Executive Committee shall be pursuant to a majority vote.
    3. The Executive Committee will meet as frequently as it deems necessary and appropriate. The Executive Committee may operate by written consent resolution signed by at least two-thirds of the existing Committee membership.
    4. The Executive Committee shall initially consist of the original signatories hereto. In the future the Executive Committee shall establish the total number of persons to serve on the Executive Committee and additions to, and replacements of, Committee members.
    5. The Executive Committee may, from time to time, establish committees to aid in accomplishing RSI’s purposes.
  • 3.3 Advisory Board
    1. Members of the Advisory Board are expected to make available their advice as knowledgeable and recognized authorities in the fields of evaluation (particularly of judicial systems), judicial administration, law, business, academia and ADR to aid RSI in accomplishing its purposes.
    2. It is not necessarily contemplated that Advisory Board members will be directly involved in the performance of RSI projects.
    3. The Executive Committee, from time to time, shall appoint persons to or replace them on the Advisory Board as it deems advisable.
